The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has described Senator (Aremo) Solomon Adeola as a blessing to the state.

State Deputy Chairman Hon. James Dina said Yayi is the party's best candidate for the 2027 gubernatorial election.

Q: Please summarise your background.

A: I hold an NCE and a BSc in Mathematics and Economics. I lectured in a tertiary education before venturing into politics in 1999. I served as party secretary and later as local government party chairman. I was education secretary and supervisory councillor during Governor Osoba's administration. I served on the Ogun State Housing Corporation board under Senator Ibikunle Amosun and am now the APC state deputy chairman.

Q: What lesson has the party learned from the primaries?

A: Aspirants learned that politics is not merely about money; sacrifices are required. Party decisions are final, and I avoid taking money from aspirants.

Q: Is Senator Yayi's candidacy a blessing?

A: Yes. Since becoming senator, he has protected the people's interests and supported projects across Ogun West and beyond. He organises empowerment programs and commissions roads and infrastructure. We ask for unity within the party and healing among leaders to avoid crises that harm the state.
